Post-COVID-19 fatigue: A cross-sectional study

<b>Aim: </b>To evaluate the prevalence of post-infection fatigue (PVFS) over one year after COVID-19.<br /> <b>Material and methods: </b>165 people who had COVID-19 more than a ago were interviewed. A Fatigue Assessment Scale was used to assess degree fatigue. Chemiluminescent analysis carried out detect antibodies Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) antigens. For statistical Fisher's exact test Spearman correlation conducted.<br <b>Results: </b>Among with PVFS, there 4.1 times women men (80.4% vs. 19.6%), 45 years old (76%), needed hospitalization for (76%). The average duration 573±18,3    days. Among individuals without significantly under age compared group PVFS (40% 24%, respectively, p=0.007) did not need (52% p=0.005). EBV reactivation determined in almost half (48%), while none reactivation. statistically significant negative mean found between severity (r=-0.357, p=0.007). p=0.007).<br <b>Conclusion: </b>PVFS is prevalent symptom COVID-19. can reach be limited 1.5 years. typical women, have moderate severe COVID-19.  Over time, decreases.<br <b>Key words: </b>COVID-19, fatigue, virus
